Business aviation moves on two clocks. Manufacturer delivery data shows the newest aircraft entering the market, while operating data shows how the existing U.S. fleet is being used. The latest complete figures available for each are collected here.
2025 market snapshot
New aircraft deliveries gained pace.
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association reports worldwide manufacturer deliveries and billings. These figures cover general aviation aircraft, with business jets shown as their own segment.

Turbojets remain a high-utilization part of the fleet.
The FAA survey covers general aviation and on-demand Part 135 activity, rather than business aviation alone. Its fixed-wing turbojet figures provide a useful view of the aircraft most closely associated with business aviation operations.

A useful market view needs both delivery and operating data.
Shipment data is a measure of newly delivered aircraft, not the full pre-owned transaction market. Flight-activity figures describe a broader U.S. general aviation and on-demand operating environment, not every business aviation mission.
For an owner considering a sale, financing conversation, or change in aircraft use, the market headline is only the starting point. The aircraft's records, maintenance position, configuration, and ownership context still determine the questions that matter most.
